MINE DEPUTY – CENTENNIAL COAL
Join Centennial Coal at their Western sites as a Mine Deputy, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of your crew and the environment. As part of a leading Australian mining company, you'll be at the heart of innovation, technology and sustainability. These permanent roles offer a 3-day week, 3:4 roster with 12-hour shifts or a 4-day week, 4:3 roster with 10 hour shifts and the chance to work with a supportive team in a high-performing culture.
What you'll be doing
* Leading, coaching and developing a team of multiskilled production mineworkers
* Providing information, instruction, training and supervision to meet statutory requirements
* Implementing daily production and maintenance schedules to achieve planned targets
* Conducting daily Start of Shift Meetings and engaging your team in hazard awareness
* Participating in accident investigations and reporting findings and recommendations
What we're looking for
* NSW Deputy Certificate of Competency
* NSW Practicing Certificate
* Minimum 3 years of underground mining experience
* Occupational First Aid certification
* Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
