Job Summary
This is a permanent full-time position that provides recovery-focused clinical services as part of a multidisciplinary team for individuals referred with mental illness, distress, or risk issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review services to individuals referred with mental health issues
2. Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
3. Develop and implement treatment plans that align with individual needs and goals
4. Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of reports and other documentation
5. Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Selection Criteria
* Tertiary Qualifications and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist, OR relevant qualifications and eligibility for professional membership for Social Workers, Counsellors, or Welfare Officers
* Experience in contemporary clinical mental health practice, including assessments and evidence-based interventions
* Understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007)
* Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles, with a collaborative, strengths-based approach
* High-level communication skills for engaging with consumers, families, carers, and stakeholders
* Proficiency in computer literacy
* Current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel, including long distances
