About the Role
Yarning Crescent is looking for a community-focused Engagement Manager -First Nations community to build strong relationships, grow partnerships, and ensure our clients and partners receive high-quality, culturally safe services.
This is a people-first role—perfect for someone who is social, confident, and passionate about community impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage relationships with partners, support coordinators, and community organisations
* Develop and grow referral pathways and partnership programs
* Ensure current clients and partners are receiving strong, consistent support
* Represent Yarning Crescent in community meetings and events
* Support staff with cultural guidance and engagement practices
* Assist with local recruitment and team growth where needed
What We’re Looking For
* Strong connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident, approachable, and able to build trust quickly
* Experience in community engagement, NDIS, or similar (desirable)
* Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities

Pay: $77,737.26 – $156,423.51 per year
