Buloke Shire Council is seeking an experienced Manager Innovation and Technology to lead our ICT function and help shape the future of technology, data and digital capability across Council. This is a senior leadership role with real scope to influence business transformation, customer experience and organisational performance.
In this role you will
* Lead the strategic planning, delivery and continuous improvement of Council's ICT and information management services.
* Drive innovation, business transformation and automation with a strong customer and user focus.
* Manage ICT operations, assets, contracts, procurement and vendor relationships.
* Lead major ICT projects, ensuring effective risk, change, data governance and cyber security management.
* Ensure compliance with legislative, policy, licensing and data protection requirements.
* Provide high-level advice and reporting to the Executive Management Team.
* Lead and develop a high-performing Innovation and Technology team.
To be successful in this role you will
* Be a proven people leader with experience building engaged high‐performing teams.
* Demonstrate strong ICT project, risk and contract management capability.
* Have a sound understanding of organisational information management, data governance and contemporary technology trends.
* Bring well‐developed policy, process analysis and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and/or substantial senior‐level experience in a related field.
* Hold a current Australian driver licence and be willing to undergo a National Police Records Check.

This full‐time role offers a salary package in the range of $120k - 134k annually, attractive salary packaging options (including novated leasing), along with opportunities for professional growth.
