Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated R-6 Physical Education specialist teacher to join McLaren Vale Primary School in delivering high-quality educational experiences that empower students to achieve their best academically, socially, and personally. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to create engaging and inclusive learning environments, uphold the school's core values, and contribute to a positive and respectful school culture. Classroom teaching may also form part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated physical education lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
* Create an inclusive environment that fosters engagement, wellbeing, and achievement for all learners.
* Work collaboratively with Deputy Principal and staff to provide sporting opportunities to students including School Sport SA events, interschool activities, whole school events including Sports Day and Colour Run.
* Use evidence based teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Establish a positive and proactive approach to behaviour management, consistent with the school's policies and values.
* Build professional relationships with colleagues, families, and the broader school community to enhance educational outcomes.
* Collaborate actively with the teaching team to refine practices and contribute to school initiatives.
* Pursue ongoing professional development and reflect on teaching practices to drive improvement and innovation.
