About the role:
This is a hands-on, high-impact Business Manager role designed for someone who enjoys owning a big piece of the puzzle. You'll take the lead on a significant customer group representing a major share of the business, partnering with well-known national retailers across hardware and automotive channels. This role offers the chance to, streamline ways of working, and unlock new commercial opportunities. From range reviews and JBPs to P&L management, category growth, and driving new product initiatives, you'll have the freedom to make real, visible change.
You'll also lead and develop a direct report, working closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product development teams in a fast-moving and collaborative environment. If you enjoy a mix of strategy, customer engagement, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done, this role will keep you energised.
Skills and experience required:
* Experience managing major retail customers within hardware, automotive, FMCG, consumer goods, or related commercial channels
* Strong commercial acumen with confidence across P&L ownership, JBPs, category development, and range reviews
* Leadership capability—either directly managing people or influencing across cross-functional teams
* Exposure to environments experiencing growth, change, or transformation, with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum
* A proactive, relationship-driven style with strong negotiation and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to spot growth opportunities, drive NPD, and deliver customer-focused solutions
