About the role
With an exciting brownfields hard-rock mining project, we are seeking experienced Maintenance Supervisors. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead and mentor the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role is based near Southern Cross and is offered on an 8/6 roster from Perth or a DIDO roster from surrounding towns.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop team members by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing mentorship.
* Manage and execute maintenance work using efficient equipment servicing strategies to achieve targeted service times and schedule compliance rates.
* Ensure that work is completed within the allowed budget and resource constraints.
* Assist the Maintenance Manager and Superintendents in implementing safety plans.
* Play an active role in incident investigations.
* Develop and strengthen key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
* Mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
* Extensive post-trade or relevant mobile maintenance experience in a mining environment.
* Previous supervisory experience.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and community.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Proven experience in maintenance planning and condition monitoring.
* Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
* Knowledge of relevant mining legislation.
