The Team
The New Norfolk community nursing team main hub is at New Norfolk community Nursing Team Lower Ground, New Norfolk District Hospital.
The team works across three sites and may include being rostered to start your day at either Central Highlands (Ouse), New Norfolk, or Midlands (Oatlands) office.
The Role
The role involves home visits and clinic appointments providing a broad range of clinical care, including wound care, catheter management and palliative care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.

You will need
* Sound knowledge of Primary Health Care principles and nursing care procedures in the community setting.
* Demonstrated ability to practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
Details of appointment
Permanent, part‐time shift worker, 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hourly schedule to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary
$73,109 to $80,524 per annum (pro‐rata). Includes a 12% superannuation contribution.
* Salary range complies with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance up to 7.5% based on qualification type.

Eligibility
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.
* Working with Vulnerable People registration.
* Current driver's licence.
