Job Title: Solid Waste Operations Manager
We are seeking a Solid Waste Operations Manager to join our team based in Spreyton.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee logistics team, supervise daily operations, allocate tasks and drivers efficiently, conduct performance reviews, and troubleshoot operational issues while ensuring deadlines are met
* Coordinate training and inductions, ensure new drivers are properly trained and documented, facilitate monthly safety meetings, and maintain driver certifications
* Manage quarantine and controlled waste operations including collections, disposal documentation, compliance audits, customer liaison, sampling coordination, and disposal applications
* Ensure adherence to Workplace Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements per company policy, report unsafe conditions
* Prepare reports using Google Suite, monitor divisional expenditure, ensure proper purchasing processes with approved suppliers, maintain fleet coordination with maintenance schedules
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* TAS Driver's Licence
* Previous relevant industry experience
* Proven ability to work in a team environment
* Strong time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Ability to work unsupervised
