About the role:In this dynamic role, you'll be at the heart of creating a safe, efficient, and environmentally conscious workplace experience for our people. You'll take ownership of day‑to‑day workplace operations, coordinate building maintenance and vendor activity, and play a key role in shaping how our spaces evolve.

You'll also be instrumental in upholding our Work Health & Safety standards, supporting national WHS training, and inspiring employee engagement through impactful sustainability programs. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll track and report on key environmental and facilities metrics, spotting opportunities to elevate both our workplace and our sustainability performance.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Oversee daily workplace operations, including facilities management, building maintenance, repairs, improvements, and contractor coordination
* Manage office moves, space planning, and layout changes while ensuring compliance with safety, health, security, and WHS regulations
* Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability programs, promoting initiatives such as energy efficiency, reduced waste, and paperless practices
* Coordinate sustainability certifications, environmental compliance, and cross‑functional integration of sustainability practices across the firm
* Track, analyse, and report on sustainability and facilities performance data (energy, waste, water), providing insights and recommendations for improvement
* Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, ensuring vendors meet sustainability and CSR requirements and deliver high‑quality services
* Implement WHS protocols, oversee national WHS training (first aid, fire wardens), and conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve safety issues
* Deliver sustainability awareness and education programs, including staff training on sustainability and facility management best practices

What You'll bring:

* 3+ years' experience in facilities coordination or workplace services, or a related field
* Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Proactive, collaborative, and team‑oriented approach
* Working knowledge of sustainability best practices and environmental regulations
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
