Facilities Operations Specialist
The role involves overseeing maintenance and planning for operational projects, as well as providing technical support to clients when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the planning and scheduling team to ensure efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
* Analyse recurring issues, identify root causes and implement Root Cause Maintenance (RCM) improvements.
* Support Facilities Managers by providing technical guidance on day-to-day maintenance requirements.
* Maintain compliance with Australian standards and legislation, while also meeting client requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require a degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Hydraulics engineering, with at least 7 years of experience in hospitals, defence, critical sites, complex industrial or university settings. A strong technical mindset, coupled with excellent communication skills, is essential for explaining complex concepts to stakeholders.
* At least 7 years of experience in facilities management or engineering.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Hydraulics).
* Strong technical expertise and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Ability to drive contract compliance and mitigate engineering risks.
