TEMP NANNY - PERTH & KALGOORLIE - MAY - AUG Location: Perth (Scarborough/City Beach) & Kalgoorlie, WA Dates: May 11th – August 25th Child: Boy (5 years old) Driving: Essential Dream Nannies is seeking a dedicated and highly flexible Temp Nanny for an exciting 4-month placement supporting a Lead Actress during a film production. This is a unique opportunity to provide stable, professional care for a 5-year-old boy while his mother is working on location. The role starts in Perth’s coastal suburbs before moving to Kalgoorlie for a portion of the shoot. The Role Due to the demanding nature of a lead acting role, we are looking for a Nanny who is adaptable and comfortable with the changing schedule of a production set. The Schedule: 5 days per week while in Perth. This moves to a 6-day work week (Mon-Sat) for approximately 4-5 weeks during the location shoot in Kalgoorlie. Hours: Flexibility is key, as work days can be 12-13 hours long. Overnight care will also be required as per the filming schedule. Travel: You will be required to travel with the mother and son to Kalgoorlie. Appropriate accommodation and travel arrangements will be fully provided during this time. Primary Focus: Sole charge care of a 5-year-old, ensuring he has an engaging and consistent routine while his mother is at work. The Family Home & Accommodation Perth Base: Based in the Scarborough / City Beach area. Live-In Preferred: A live-in arrangement is preferred to accommodate the nature of early call times and changing work requirements. Accommodation: Comfortable accommodation will be provided in both Perth and on location in Kalgoorlie. Requirements Experience: Proven experience caring for primary school-aged children and a background in sole-charge roles. Flexibility: A proactive attitude and the ability to adjust to a schedule that can change at short notice. Driving: A valid driver’s licence is essential. Professionalism: Absolute discretion and confidentiality are required for this role. Availability: Must be available for the full duration (May 11 – Aug 25).
