About this role
This is a bookkeeping position that involves performing hands-on accounting for various business clients. The role also includes mentoring and supporting a junior accountant, coordinating financial workflow and job allocation within the team, preparing tax returns, and assisting accountants with year-end compliance.
* Perform hands-on accounting for a range of business clients
* Mentor and support a junior accountant
* Coordinate financial workflow and job allocation within the team
* Prepare tax returns and assist accountants with year-end compliance
* Reconcile accounts and work closely with partners and accountants in a supportive practice environment
* Liaise directly with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
* Train and support clients in all things finance and cloud systems
* Travel to client premises on occasion (own car is required)
