We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Centre Director (2IC) to join our leadership team in Geelong.
This is a great opportunity for an early childhood professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the daily operations of the centre, guide educators, maintain high standards, and help create a positive environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Centre Director with daily operations and leadership
* Mentor and guide educators to deliver high-quality programs
* Maintain compliance with EYLF, NQS, and relevant regulations
* Build strong relationships with families and the local community
* Support a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture
* Assist with staff onboarding, coaching, and development
* Contribute to quality improvement across the service
* Help provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children
About You
* Good knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
* At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or similar role
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
* Passion for high-quality early childhood education and care
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
* Good organisational and computer skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with families and the communit
