Our client is a well-established electrical and mechanical service provider based in Malaga, specialising in electric motor rewinds, repairs and overhauls. What You Will Be Doing:
This role is ideal for someone mechanically minded who is looking to step into a team leader position. You will play a key role in training, coaching and developing mechanics, providing clear instruction on correct procedures, fault-finding techniques and best practice standards while offering ongoing supervision and technical guidance. Alongside this leadership focus, you will carry out hands-on duties including the disassembly, refurbishment and reassembly of AC and DC motors of various sizes, as well as electrical fitting, assembly and rewinding of motors and pumps. The role also involves conducting testing, dynamic balancing and machining where required, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. In addition, you will manage relevant administrative responsibilities such as documentation and reporting, while maintaining a clean, organised workshop and supporting overall team productivity and continuous improvement.
What You Will Need:
* Demonstrated experience in electric motor refurbishment (essential)
* Strong technical knowledge of medium to high voltage AC motors, from fractional HP to large machines
* Motor rewind experience (highly desirable)
* Current and valid electrical license (desirable)
* Machining and dynamic balancing experience (desirable)
* Forklift (LF) license (desirable)
