ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for several reliable and hardworking cleaners to perform various cleaning duties within the Wollongong City Council Cleaning Contract commencing with Menzies from 1 February 2026.
Working hours are.
1. Monday to Friday at 9.00pm-12.00am
2. Saturday and Sunday at 9.00pm-12.00am
3. Monday to Friday at 6.00pm-10.00pm
4. Monday to Friday at 4.00pm-12.00am
5. Saturday at 4.00pm-8.00pm
6. Monday to Friday at 6pm -8.00pm
Your responsibilities may include:
* Detailed cleans including offices, facilities & washrooms
* Collection, segregation and disposal of waste
* Spot cleaning, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming
* Toilet, external areas and walkway cleaning
* Ensuring compliance with company procedures
* Responding to scheduled and ad-hoc customer requests

Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
* All applicants must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a police check and Working with Children Check as a condition of employment.
* Applicants who are not Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents must provide proof of entitlement to work including any restrictions on hours of work.

* Drivers' licence and own transport desirable.
