Our client specialises in air pollution control, odour control systems and advanced emissions treatment technologies, delivering high quality, environmentally focused solutions across major infrastructure projects.
We are seeking four (4) Mechanical Fitters to join our growing project teams.
About the role:
These are hands on construction roles working on the build and installation of odour control systems within live infrastructure environments.
Duties will include:
* Construction and assembly of odour control units.
* Installation of odour covers to tanks, pits and process areas.
* Installation of extraction ductwork, including supports and connections.
* Mechanical installation of fans, blowers, motors and associated equipment.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and site specifications.
* Working safely in accordance with WHS and site requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Trade Qualification: Certificate III Engineering - Fitter
* Basic tools required for site.
* Experience in mechanical construction, installation or industrial maintenance.
* Working with Heights
* Confined Spaces.
* Construction White Card.
* Ability to work from Drawings and instructions.
* Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.
* Previous experience with ducting, odour control or process plant installations - Desirable (but not essential)
* Previous experience on wastewater, treatment plant or infrastructure sites - Desirable (but not essential)
