We are leaders in archaeological investigations, heritage assessment, and cultural heritage management. Our Sydney team is seeking a passionate Historical Archaeologist to contribute to exciting projects that shape Australia's heritage future.
About the Role
The Principal Advisor role is focused on the successful undertaking and delivery of commercial consultancy projects requiring skills in project management and technical expertise, and providing strategic advice and guidance to achieve successful business development in historical archaeology.
* Demonstrated experience in Archaeology at a senior level;
* Sound knowledge of the Australian heritage profession, including an extensive colleague network across the profession;
* Appropriate degree with Honours or equivalent;
* Relevant professional registrations/accreditations, or willingness to obtain;
* Extensive knowledge of historic heritage management and/or archaeology (as appropriate) in Australia;
* Drivers' license, Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card);
* Post-tertiary qualifications (Masters or above);
* Membership in, and profile within, relevant professional organisations;
* Track record of publication in the field;
* Experience acting as an expert witness;
