We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Brisbane-based team, supporting and enhancing critical business applications within the energy sector.
This role combines hands‐on development with Level 3 production support, working across modern cloud‐native platforms built on Microsoft Azure. You'll play a key role in maintaining system reliability, delivering enhancements, and supporting mission‐critical services in a fast‐paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 3 production support, including incident, problem, and root‐cause analysis
* Perform code‐level fixes and configuration changes through CI/CD pipelines
* Participate in a 24×7 on‐call roster for critical systems
* Design, develop, and maintain Node.js (TypeScript) backend services on Azure
* Maintain and enhance React‐based Single Page Applications
* Support event‐driven and real‐time systems using Azure Service Bus and Web PubSub
* Work with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Data Factory ETL pipelines
* Support integrations with AEMO APIs, FTP services, and internal platforms
* Contribute to secure, automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to improve platform stability and performance
Mandatory Technical Skills
* TypeScript (primary language)
* Git (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews)
* CI/CD automation and release management
Required Experience
* 5+ years' experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Senior Application Support Engineer
* Strong background in Azure serverless architectures (Functions, App Services)
* Hands‐on experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD‐driven environments
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving capability in live production systems
