You will need to be confident in working alone and preparing up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children. In addition to cooking, your knowledge may be required in aspects of menu planning and nutrition guidance.

About you
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (highly desirable)
* Experience cooking in childcare, aged care or hospitals will be well regarded
* Safe Food Handling Certificate
* Allergen aware as well as commitment to meet dietary, cultural and nutritional needs of children
* Available a minimum of 2 shifts per week
* Willingness to travel to different locations around your area
* Australian work rights and a willingness to gain your state based Working with Children Card
* Possession of a First Aid certificate is highly regarded by some of our clients
* Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities
* Able to provide contact details of two professional referees who have managed you and can speak to your work
* Willingness to undertake National Child Safety training
