Sales Account Manager – Solar PV & BESS

About the Role: A leading global technology company in the renewable energy space is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to support its commercial growth in the Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) markets across Australia. You'll play a key role in expanding the company's footprint in the solar and energy storage sectors. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the sales process from enquiry to contract close.
Key Responsibilities
Promote solar PV and BESS solutions to EPCs, developers, and utilities.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
What You Bring
3–7 years' experience in sales or business development, ideally within renewable energy or electrical systems.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Technical understanding of solar PV and/or BESS systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Fluency in English, written and verbal.
Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
Results-driven and proactive.
