Physical Education Teacher
St Patrick’s Catholic School is a vibrant learning environment catering to students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in a co-educational setting. The school is seeking a part-time Physical Education teacher to work one day a week. Flexibility around the specific day is available to suit the successful applicant. The commencement date can be the week of 9th June 2025 or the start of Term 3.
Selection Criteria
1. A demonstrated commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and community dimensions of the school.
2. A sound understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and a diverse range of educational theories and practices.
3. Be a creative, flexible, and enthusiastic educator with a passion for Physical Education and/or experience teaching Physical Education.
4. An ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of an energetic and highly capable team.
5. A strong work ethic.
6. Be an organized staff member who shows initiative, flexibility, and displays a positive outlook, while always reflecting a passion for education.
7. Demonstrate the capacity and enthusiasm required to build community with staff, parents, students, and the wider community.
8. The ability to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for a variety of student needs.
Qualifications Required
Relevant four-year tertiary qualification.
