Detech Engineering is an Engineering and Maintenance Consultancy based in Townsville and Brisbane. We have extensive project experience across port facilities, infrastructure assets, lifting equipment as well as mineral processing and mining projects. This opportunity brings a diverse range of experiences for your broad career development.
We are currently looking for a Bachelor qualified Civil/Structural Engineer with 2 to 5 year's experience to join our team.
Duties will include:
* Provide design and maintenance solutions to projects using Australian Standards.
* Undertake appropriate investigations, inspections, and audits of client assets.
* Project manage jobs working closely with engineering team, clients and vendors.
* Report development for project progress, analysis and budget variations.
Key selection criteria:
* Effective written and verbal communication skills to build positive relationships with clients, project team and management.
* Problem solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team.
* Ability to work independently on sites to collect data and potentially be away from home when required.
* Efficiently assign work priorities and work in high‐pressure environments at times.
* Excellent computer skills and the ability to adapt to new programs: proficiency in structural analysis programs – Space Gass and SkyCiv as well as computerised drafting such as Inventor, AutoCad or Solidworks.
