Kureen Farming is a diversified farming business operating on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. We are family owned and operated business that produces Avocados, Custard Apples, Bananas and Blueberries.
We require a farm hand to join our avocado team.
Key Duties
* General farming operations as instructed
* Operating and maintaining a range of farm machinery
* Operation, maintenance and repairs to irrigation and fertigation systems
* Inspecting and servicing farm machinery
* Conduct repairs and maintenance of all farm machinery
* Harvesting of crops
* Application of fertilizer and chemicals to the crop
Qualifications & experience
* Chem-cert certificate
* Forklift licence
* 2+ years experience
* Good problem solving skills
* General fabrication skills including cutting and welding
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Organised and efficient
* Good Mechanical aptitude and experience
