You will gain industry-leading training and guidance in the management of end-to-end workers compensation claims, where the law and medical science intersect on a daily basis. Our 500 annual participants rely on us to provide timely and effective services, and we need someone with your skills and enthusiasm to help us deliver.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment, working closely with our experienced team leaders and consultants. You will have the opportunity to participate in medical case conferences, work closely with risk and safety advisers, and undertake all duties in line with the Return to Work Act and Regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a high attention to detail and ability to work autonomously as part of a close-knit team. Previous experience in insurance claims management or customer call centre operations is highly advantageous, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in providing timely services to injured workers and members
* Assist in the delivery of proactive claims liability review, determination, and advisory services
* Assist in the implementation of early intervention and engagement strategies
* Participate in medical case conferences as required
* Work closely with the Team Leader, Senior Claims Consultants, Senior RTW Consultants, and Risk & Safety Advisers
* Undertake all duties in line with the Return to Work Act and Regulations

What You Need:

* Tertiary qualifications (or working towards) within allied health, nursing, psychology, business, HR/IR, or law (desirable but not necessary)
* Previous experience in insurance claims management or customer call centre operations (highly advantageous but not mandatory)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously as part of a close-knit team
* Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
