Key Account Manager Job Description
This is a pivotal role for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our sales team and contribute to the success of our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain existing key accounts and work closely with sales engineers to ensure customer satisfaction
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with core customers, including Tier one miners
* Work collaboratively with customers and end users on proposals and design work as required
* Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team on dewatering, pumping, and equipment inquiries
* Select and quote pumps and valves, including price and detailed quotations
* Train and develop sales and service teams
* Report project status, win/loss feedback, and target projects
Requirements and Experience:
* Engineering background or mechanical trade experience with pumping/slurry/dewatering equipment
* A proven track record managing mining sales
* Tendering, quoting, forecasting, and budgeting experience
* CRM and ERP system experience – tracking sales and delivery cycles
