Maintenance Technician

We are looking for talented electrical and mechanical technicians to help keep our parcel sorting and delivery machinery in peak condition at our Sydney Parcel Facility in Chullora. The role involves working alongside Mechanical fitters and Electricians to perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on processing machines. You will diagnose and repair complex faults, maintain accurate maintenance records using SAP, and prioritize safety to ensure smooth and safe operation for our employees and customers.

We offer a permanent rotating roster with two weeks of early shifts (5am–1pm) followed by two weeks of afternoon shifts (1pm–9pm). Compensation starts at $53 per hour with guaranteed yearly increases, double‐time overtime rates, and annual leave of 5 weeks plus leave loading. Training and professional development, including cost coverage for relevant studies, are also available.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside Mechanical fitters and Electricians to perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on processing machines.
• Diagnosing and repairing complex faults, ensuring the uninterrupted flow of our operations.
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance transactions using SAP, contributing to efficient planning.
• Prioritizing safety in all work, ensuring the well‐being of our team and the integrity of our operations.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Certificate III Electrical Trade with a Full NSW Electrical License.
• Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and monitoring high‐speed automation or processing equipment and systems.
• Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
