About the role
Mater Education has an exciting opportunity for an experienced RTO Educator to join our industry-leading Registered Training Organisation. This role focuses on delivering and assessing activities related to the Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) program within Southeast Queensland. It is a permanent, full-time position.
The role may require working Monday to Friday and attending RTO events, open days, and career expos on weekends.

Key duties include but are not limited to:
* Managing VETiS cohorts at various locations including South Brisbane and external health hubs
* Preparing and delivering training in workplace, online, or classroom settings
* Providing flexible training and assessment strategies tailored to individual student needs
* Monitoring student progress and providing support
* Assessing student competence and providing constructive feedback
* Supporting students with learning difficulties, disabilities, or literacy issues
* Ensuring compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015 and related regulations
* Maintaining Mater Education’s equipment, facilities, and resources responsibly
* Managing student administration within the SMS and LMS systems
* Participating in team meetings, open days, expos, and info sessions
* Ensuring a safe learning environment meeting WHS standards
* Maintaining professional development and industry competencies
* Participating in assessment validation and moderation
About you
Applicants should have:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in the health industry
* Understanding of the VET sector and RTO environment experience
* Knowledge of relevant professional and accreditation requirements
* Conflict resolution skills in student management
* Enthusiasm and industry knowledge
* Adherence to policies, procedures, and industry standards
* Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and team members
Qualifications and experience
Essential qualifications:
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
* Valid Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
* Current Driver’s License
Additional relevant qualifications may include:
* Certificate II in Health Support Services
* Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
* Certificate III in Health Administration
* Diploma of Nursing
* Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery
