Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled maintenance assistant to help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment for our students and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our school remains clean and tidy every day.
* Clean windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
* Clean and sanitise toilet facilities and sick bays.
* Maintain equipment in good working order.
* Cobweb and mildew control using extendable equipment as necessary.
* Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Physical fitness to perform tasks that require manual labour.
* Reliability and punctuality.
