Our head office is located in Werribee, and our services are delivered across the Melbourne metropolitan area, allowing our team to support families in clinic, community, and outreach settings.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Content Creator & Videographer to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for a creative professional who is confident capturing high-quality video content, telling meaningful stories, and working in a healthcare environment with children and allied health practitioners.

You will be responsible for recording our practitioners in clinic and community settings across Melbourne metropolitan locations, creating engaging digital content, and managing the regular posting of content across all social media platforms.

This is a hybrid role, combining working from home, collaboration at our Werribee head office, and on-the-road filming across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

Videography & Photography

* Film high-quality video content featuring practitioners, therapy sessions (where appropriate), educational content, and behind-the-scenes footage
* Record on-location content at Alpha Abilities clinics and community settings across Melbourne metro
* Capture still photography for marketing and promotional use

Content Creation, Editing & Posting

* Edit video content for social media, website, and internal use (short-form and long-form)
* Create engaging reels, short clips, and educational videos aligned with NDIS and healthcare guidelines
* Plan, schedule, and post daily and weekly content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
* Monitor content performance and optimise posting strategies to maximise engagement
* Ensure all content aligns with Alpha Abilities' brand, tone, and values

Collaboration & Planning

* Work closely with clinicians, leadership, and marketing team to plan content calendars and campaigns
* Coordinate filming schedules with practitioners while respecting clinical priorities
* Contribute creative ideas to strengthen brand presence and community engagement

Compliance & Ethics

* Ensure all content complies with privacy, consent, and NDIS requirements
* Maintain sensitivity when working with children, families, and vulnerable participants
* Adhere to all confidentiality and child safety policies

Work Conditions & Remuneration

* Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per annum + superannuation
* Travel: Travel budget provided for on-the-road filming days
* Work Days: Monday to Friday
* Additional Work: Occasional Saturday work may be required (with notice)
* Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Work from Home, Werribee Head Office, and Melbourne metro locations)

Skills, Experience & Mandatory Requirements

Essential

* Proven experience in videography, content creation, and social media management
* Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
* Experience posting and managing content across multiple social media platforms
* Strong understanding of social media trends, scheduling tools, and analytics
* Excellent communication and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently in a hybrid role
* Valid Victorian driver's licence
* Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
* Willingness to travel across Melbourne metropolitan areas

Desirable

* Experience in healthcare, paediatrics, disability, or NDIS-related environments
* Photography and basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite)
