Administration Assistant: Geelong Mobile Podiatry
Hybrid (Home-Based) | 25 Hours Per Week
At Geelong Mobile Podiatry, we believe healthcare should be personal, supportive, and empowering. We are a dedicated mobile allied health business delivering high-quality podiatric care directly to our clients' homes. We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Administration Assistant to become the operational backbone of our growing team.
As a mobile service, our \"front desk\" is digital. You will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional client experience, coordinating our podiatrists in the field, and improving the systems that help our business thrive.
About the Role
This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week designed for someone who thrives on autonomy. The role is hybrid, with the vast majority of your work conducted from your home office, allowing for excellent work-life balance.
Your mission will be to:
* Be the First Point of Contact: Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for clients over the phone and via email.
* Coordinate the Road: Assist with schedules and travel routes for our mobile podiatrists to ensure efficiency.
* Drive Operations: Support smooth day-to-day clinic functions and proactively solve logistical problems.
* Manage Billing: Assist with invoicing and Medicare, My Aged Care, or NDIS processing: training is provided, but previous experience is a plus.
* System Growth: Help implement and refine workflows as we scale our services across the Geelong region.
* Nurture Relationships: Coordinate client recalls and follow-up communications to ensure continuity of care.
About You
We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable working independently from a home environment while staying connected to a remote team.
You are a great fit if you:
* Have 1-2 years of experience in allied health, medical, or healthcare administration.
* Are highly organised with a \"detail-first\" mindset.
* Communicate confidently and professionally, building genuine rapport with elderly clients and their families.
* Are tech-savvy and comfortable with practice management systems.
* Take initiative: you do not just spot a problem, you suggest a better way to do things.
* Can manage competing priorities without a manager looking over your shoulder.
Why Join Us?
* True Flexibility: Work primarily from the comfort of your own home with a schedule that respects your time.
* Competitive Compensation: A generous hourly rate of $35-38 per hour.
* Impact: Help shape the systems and client experience of a growing local business.
* Supportive Culture: Be part of a values-driven team that appreciates your contribution to our clinicians' success.
* Growth: Opportunity as the business expands.
How to Apply
If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a dynamic yet remote environment, and take pride in creating an outstanding experience for clients, we would love to hear from you.
Please apply with your resume and a short cover letter.
