With growth continuing, the partners have created this new position for a capable litigator ready to take their next step. The Role You'll join a close-knit litigation team led by two highly regarded partners. The role will see you: Act on complex, high-stakes disputes across the Supreme and Federal Courts Work across general commercial litigation, property disputes, and insolvency matters Advise clients including listed corporates, major property and energy companies, and private businesses Take ownership of files while collaborating on major matters with the partners Recent matters include: Acting for a listed mining services company in Supreme Court proceedings involving a shareholder dispute arising out of a failed joint venture. Defending a national property developer in proceedings brought by a major tenant for breach of lease and misrepresentation claims. Advising the liquidators of a collapsed fintech company on recovery strategies involving insolvent trading claims against former directors and complex cross-border asset tracing. Successfully resolving a high-profile dispute between two family-owned agribusinesses, involving contested ownership of rural land and business operations. Acting for a prominent private equity fund in urgent Federal Court proceedings to enforce a drag-along clause and complete a contested share sale. Advising a national franchisor on a multi-party dispute involving breaches of restraint of trade and misuse of confidential information by a former licensee.
