Our organisation has been delivering a child-centred program for many years, providing before school care, after school care, and vacation care across various locations in the Northern Rivers region.
We are seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team, one based at our Wollongbar service and one based at our Alstonville service.
In this role, you will develop valuable skills in building strong relationships with children and families, while helping to deliver engaging active programs.
You will lead the day-to-day operations at the service, ensuring a fun, safe, and enriching environment for school-aged children.
* Develop and facilitate engaging programs that include sports, games, cooking, art, and craft, catering to individual and group needs.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community.
* Supervise and mentor educators, junior employees, and students to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive environment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent) OR 3+ years of experience working with school-aged children
* The ability to work independently and supervise groups of up to 15 children
* Experience in leading and mentoring staff in an education setting
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of childhood development, programming, and regulations (e.g. NQF, My Time Our Place Framework)
* The ability to use digital and cloud-based systems for administration and reporting
