The Role
The Electrical Engineer role involves applying relevant engineering knowledge, techniques, and procedures to support the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and management of facility assets, infrastructure, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform technical studies, analyses, investigations, and consultations.
* Identify and develop requirements for facility infrastructure, equipment, and system modifications, replacements, upgrades, or recapitalizations.
* Design and develop solutions for technical problems across the electrical engineering discipline.
* Review and advise on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems.
* Perform engineering calculations supporting facility infrastructure operation and design.
* Provide recommendations on system reliability, operation, maintenance, lifecycle management, and costing.
* Evaluate operational systems and infrastructure for optimization and improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
