Psychiatric Nurse Specialist
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network seeks an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Specialist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team at Salisbury. This full-time permanent position offers a structured 5-day roster, providing excellent work-life balance while delivering essential mental health services to the community.
This role is ideal for a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a challenging opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for:
* Providing comprehensive clinical nursing care to adults experiencing mental health challenges in community settings
* Conducting assessments, developing care plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions
* Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to support clients and families through recovery-focused care approaches
* Participating in case management and community outreach programs
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a current practicing certificate. You must also possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of mental health nursing principles, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact.
