Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic midwives with excellent standards of care to join our community teams in the Dudley area. This role will involve providing continuity of care to women during the antenatal and postnatal periods and will involve working in the community of Dudley. To meet the needs of our women it will be necessary to provide on call cover for homebirth. We are also actively developing continuity of carer pathways as part of the Better Births agenda and welcome innovation and enthusiasm.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care. The post holder will be required to develop their skills in mentorship, leadership, examination of the new-born, providing teaching and supervision of Student Midwives and support staff. The post holder will also be required to take a lead/link role for the unit/department to be determined at appraisal.
