New Directions Australia is a market leading wholesaler and manufacturer of essential oils, natural and organic skin care, cosmetics, and wellbeing products. We also sell high end packaging to the cosmetic and fashion industries from our contemporary office and showroom in Marrickville.

About the Role:

Are you someone that has an ability to time-manage, prioritise, and has a passion for communication and business development? Then this role is for you.

Our team is for an individual that will be an instrumental piece in our business responsible for fostering strong client relationships and driving business development for our OEM division on a 8-month contract for Maternity Leave cover.

The role focus:

* Respond to new customer enquiries professionally and promptly (email, phone, in-person) and attend meetings with new clients.)
* Work with clients to understand their business issues and provide solutions that meet their needs.
* Identify and manage growth opportunities with clients.
* Prospect new leads, identify business opportunities, develop client base.
* Increase revenue growth from existing clients by upselling products.
* Support the Group Manager with all marketing collateral.
* Development and maintenance of relationships with external clients.
* Stay updated with skincare industry trends and developments and making suggestions and give ideas to develop new products for the company.
* Maintain and update client database accurately.
* Provide quoted for OEM Services
* Process OEM project-related payments accurately.
* Communicating internally with stakeholders and clients.

Skills and attributes:

* Previous sales experience, ideally in the cosmetics/natural beauty industry
* Goal oriented and have a "can-do" attitude.
* Strong organizational and coordination skills
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a professional interdisciplinary team.
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
* Customer service orientation, with knowledge of customer service principles and practices
* Attention to detail.
* Initiative, persuasiveness, adaptability, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Great team player
* Reliability.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent preferred but not essential
