Supporting Vulnerable Individuals in a Residential Care Setting
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Assist residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and housekeeping.
* Promote the independence and well-being of residents by encouraging participation in recreational activities and social events.
* Collaborate with care teams to develop individualized care plans that cater to unique resident needs.
Requirements
* Aged Care Certificate III or higher qualification.
* Experience working in residential care settings, preferably with vulnerable populations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
Foster a supportive environment for residents, promoting their autonomy and dignity. Develop strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team dynamic.
