Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, tax returns and providing insightful financial advice to clients. Key responsibilities include reconciling accounts, managing month-end and year-end processes, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and income tax return for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
* Reconcile accounts and manage month-end and year-end processes
* Provide business advisory services and tax planning strategies
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree or higher in accounting or finance field, minimum of 3 years of experience in public practice or similar role, strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standards, proficiency in Accounting software, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to details and time management.
