Overview
As the Chef de Partie, reporting to the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Contribute to creative and contemporary menu items, dietary requirements, understand the trends and demands of restaurants and events
Assist in the restaurant and banquets kitchen as required
Maintaining high standards of preparation and presentation
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
Lead the team from the front
A strong understanding of dietary requirements
Contribute to a safe, happy and productive work environment
Understand and maintain tight food & labour costs
Maintain hygiene and safety standards
A Work, Health and Safety ambassador
About You
Have full Australian Working rights
Understanding of Greek cuisine is an advantage but not essential
Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a fast paced restaurant and/or function environment
A team player, focused on results and being part of a top performing team
Must have flexible work availability due to the nature of the business
Have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English
