YOUR ROLE
Our Digital Customer Experience Team is growing whilst we continue to invest in the delivering the best digital experience to our customers. We are looking for a Mid Product Designer who can specialise in Conversational Design that focuses on creating user-centric experiences within conversational interfaces, such as chatbots, voice assistants, and messaging apps.
Working in a large design team, the Mid Product Designer will champion quality product design within our AI Assisted squad. You will organise and structure the conversation flow, content, and navigation to ensure users can easily find information and complete tasks within the conversational interface. You’ll be an advocate for the end user, identifying insights from customer research, internal service metrics and market analysis.
This role will communicate and visualise design ideas using techniques including concepts, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high-fidelity interface design in line with the digital customer experience group strategy.
This is a 24-month contract role open to candidates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. We offer flexibility to suit you, with a mix of work from home and the office.
ABOUT YOU
1. You have a well-rounded skill set that combines UX/UI design principles with a deep understanding of the opportunities presented by conversational interfaces.
2. 3+ years’ experience as a Product Designer as a minimum
3. You have experience with accessibility design for users with disabilities, considering factors like screen readers, voice commands, and inclusive design practices.
4. You have experience using Figma component libraries to effectively build designs
5. You must be detail-oriented, a team player, highly organised, and possess excellent time management skills.
6. Previous experience working in a digital-first organisation with a strong customer-centric focus
7. You enjoy working in a large design team with other designers with diverse backgrounds
8. Experience working within financial services would be a plus.
