The Star Sydney is currently accepting applications for Fitters and Plumbers! In this role, you will join our well established and friendly maintenance team on a full-time basis working on a 24/7 rotating roster.
A few of your responsibilities:
1. General plumbing works such as leak investigations and repairs
2. Carrying out scheduled and preventative maintenance on our commercial catering equipment
3. Commissioning and testing of kitchen equipment as well as other various project works
4. Reporting and documenting work through building maintenance software
What are we looking for?
5. Fitter, Turner and/or Plumbing Trade Qualifications or equivalent
6. Fabrication and machining skills using TIG and arc welding
7. Competent in the safe operational use of lathes, drills and hand power tools
8. Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays as required)
9. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as you work with a diverse team
10. Polished five-star grooming and personal presentation
