About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Specialist, where you will play a vital role in supporting the personal, social, and emotional needs of our residents. You will work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to ensure that each resident receives high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide quality personal care and support to residents, including assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.* Assist residents with mobility and transfer tasks, ensuring their safety and dignity are maintained.* Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.* Support residents with their dietary requirements and assist with mealtime.* Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations using eCase software.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.* Adaptable and willing to learn, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
