Strategic Inventory Leadership
We are seeking an experienced inventory professional to lead our strategic inventory planning and optimisation activities. This critical role will play a key part in ensuring material availability for Collins Class Submarine maintenance and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain long-term inventory planning and forecasting capabilities.
* Lead the establishment and upkeep of the Forward Material Estimate.
* Plan for future material requirements associated with the Integrated Maintenance Schedule.
This is a leadership role requiring strong analytical capability, stakeholder management skills, and experience in complex defence, manufacturing, mining or heavy industry. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Management, as well as significant experience in inventory roles. Strong capability in ERP, MRP, inventory optimisation tools and data analysis is also essential. A proven ability to translate complex data into clear decisions is vital for success in this role.
