Superannuation fund with a large team in Sydney are looking for a new person to join their Investment Team. This fund have significant accolades for their investment performance and take risk very seriously.
The Role
As an Investment Risk Specialist, you'll play a meaningful role in supporting the Investment Team reviewing investment portfolios and analysing client risk appetites and identify potential portfolio risks.
You will work closely with the team to design and build risk frameworks and develop tools to support risk monitoring and risk analysis for investment portfolios.
* Identify key investment and portfolio risks
* Build and maintain Python workflows for retrieving, validating and transforming risk data
* Performance risk analysis
The Person
This role suits a technology or data orientated person with coding skills that enjoys problem solving, learning and has a genuine interest in investments.
* Strong Python skills for analytics and automation
* Appetite to learn new programming languages quickly
* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
* Relevant qualifications; a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related disciplines.
