Job Description
* Conduct reliability analysis to enhance Heavy Mobile Equipment performance and minimise downtime.
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve reliability issues.
* Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all engineering processes.
* Support the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs.
* Provide technical expertise and training to team members as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Reliability Engineer should have:
* Relevant qualifications in engineering (bachelor, RPEQ), ideally within mechanical or electrical disciplines.
* Proven skills in conducting reliability and performance analysis.
* Experience in a heavy industry or similar field.
* Strong understanding of maintenance strategies and asset management principles.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in engineering projects.
* Ability to work in a FIFO capacity and adapt to a 7/7 roster.
What's on Offer
* Hourly rate between AUD 80 and AUD 100, depending on experience.
* FIFO role on a convenient 7/7 roster. 12 hour days. Ideally flying out of Northern Queensland or Darwin.
