We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across the state.
Based in Kalgoorlie, this role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening key customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across trade and wholesale customers.
This is a highly autonomous, strategic role suited to a commercially minded sales professional with experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector who enjoys owning a regional market and making a tangible impact.

You will identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen key customer relationships, and execute strategic initiatives to deliver sustainable growth across trade and wholesale customers.
Business Development & Growth
* Develop and execute state‐based business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities
* Identify and evaluate partnerships, alliances and potential growth initiatives
* Monitor market conditions and adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and industry partners
* Develop tailored customer engagement plans to increase loyalty and satisfaction
* Negotiate and close high‐value sales agreements
* Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand CVG's footprint
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations
* Achieve or exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and deal closure
Cross‐Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with stores, state sales teams, marketing, product and finance
* Provide market insights and customer feedback to support product and marketing strategies
* Maintain regular communication with stores on customer performance
Reporting & Analysis
* Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends and opportunities
* Analyse sales and market data to support strategic decision‐making
* Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
You are a motivated and commercially driven professional with a passion for business development and customer relationships.
You will bring:
* 3–5 years' experience in automotive/commercial vehicle sales
* Proven success in business development, sales growth and key account management
* Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to travel as required
