South Burnett CTC Inc is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to providing support to disadvantaged individuals across various programs, including Foster Care, Youth & Family Services, and Disability Services. Our mission is to empower individuals of all backgrounds and ages through comprehensive support services.
We operate throughout the South Burnett area, with teams based in Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon, ensuring that our services are accessible and responsive to community needs.
Position Overview
The Support Coordinator role is vital in assisting individuals with disabilities to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This position involves working closely with participants, their families, and various stakeholders to help clients maximise their NDIS funding and achieve their personal goals.
The Support Coordinator will facilitate effective communication between participants and support services, ensuring that clients are empowered and informed throughout their journey.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualifications in disability services, social work, mental health, or a related field, or relevant experience in the industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Support Coordination, case management, or similar roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Commitment to promoting the rights and inclusion of individuals living with disabilities.
- Hold a Queensland Open Driver’s Licence and First Aid/CPR certificates, or the willingness to obtain them.
Candidates should also be prepared to participate in ongoing training and adhere to all legislative and organisational standards related to the role.
Salary & Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary based on qualifications, with rates between $38.65 and $44.58 per hour, depending on experience and skills. As a not-for-profit organisation, we also provide salary packaging options to enhance your overall compensation.
