Bidfood Launceston seeks a confident and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Customer Service Representative.
This role is an inbound, phone-based position with no cold calling or outbound sales. You will be the first point of contact for many customers, helping them place orders, find what they need and feel supported.

You will also respond to emails, assist with new customer onboarding and support our sales reps with day-to-day service and coordination.
About this role
This is a daytime position that balances work with family and social life. We value supporting our employees in all aspects of their lives.
This is a fast-paced customer service and telesales role. You will take calls from chefs, kitchen teams and hospitality businesses placing orders or seeking advice. Your support will help keep their operations running smoothly.
You will work closely with our sales reps and manager to ensure customers are well looked after and systems stay up-to-date. The role requires:
* Answering inbound phone calls and taking orders
* Building trusted relationships with regular customers
* Responding to emails and product enquiries
* Processing orders accurately using internal software
* Onboarding new customers and assigning to sales reps
* Liaising with sales reps and managers to resolve service issues
* Maintaining accurate customer and product records
About you
You are someone who enjoys helping others, communicates clearly and stays composed under pressure. Whether it's a busy phone day or a complex customer query, you bring professionalism, warmth and a can-do attitude to your work.
Previous experience in hospitality, retail, administration, call centres, reception or fast-paced medical or logistics environments will be highly regarded.
Skill requirements include strong communication skills, a team mindset and confidence using computers and phone systems.
