Senior Data Insights Analyst role at Macquarie Group. Join our Commodities and Global Markets Central Technology team within the Commodities and Global Markets Central Analytics and Insights team, serving as the conduit between business and technical teams.

What role will you play?
You will be involved in creating precise and intuitive Power BI dashboards by converting business needs into effective data models and visualizations. You will perform comprehensive analyses to guide decision-making and provide data consulting to non-technical stakeholders, making complex information accessible. You will also oversee the entire process of reporting solutions, from initial design and user testing through to final production deployment.
What You Offer
- 4+ years in data analytics and business intelligence, including 4 years of hands-on Power BI development
- Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery and software development lifecycle
- Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and architecture
- Analytical and outcome-focused mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Adept at understanding stakeholder needs, translating them into actionable insights, and aligning data solutions with business objectives
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) technologies and interest in AI-driven analytics is highly regarded
- Experience in data preparation and integration of large datasets
